Reviews by Ben “I purchased this TV for a little under $1750. No tax, free shipping, and the lowest price that I could find on the internet made this an easy decision for me. I was skeptical at first with the low price that the picture quality would live up to my expectations. I was anticipating those “blurry squares” that appear (like on my 50in) whenever I am watching sports or movies with lots of action. However, I was quite impressed. This set delivers a clear and consistent picture and for a fraction of the price of other competing brands.
My negatives are mostly minor things, but I decided to list everything I could think of to help those that are “on the fence”. The one thing that I thought was a little pointless are the preset picture options such as “sports”, “cinema”, and so on. I (as well as my friends and family) have yet to find a setting that works better than the default. All others seem either dull or so bright that a person’s face color looks unnatural.
In summary… there is very little that I do not like about this set. Aesthetically, it is a good looking TV. The screen size is ridiculously impressive, and the picture quality I would rate around an 8/10. Finally, the price is right. If you can purchase it for under $1800, I would consider it a bargain.”
